Event Details

This course will provide teachers with the latest research on Working Memory Theory and its impact on learning for children with deficits in their working memory. The course will not only provide theory but specific intervention practices that can be utilised upon course completion. The course will continue to examine the impact deficits in working memory have on learning and reading and provide intervention practices for utilisation in both the mainstream and learning support environment.

About the Presenter: Amanda Tocci PhD Psychology candidate, MAEdst, BA, GradDipEd, GradCertTESOL

Amanda is a highly experienced Educational Consultant & Lecturer on Working Memory and its relationship to learning and reading. Amanda's lectures are highly supported by schools in the Queensland Department of Education. Amanda brings to each school and lecture a passion for education and for bridging gaps between research and practical classroom strategies.
