Welcome to 2015 a year full of hope and success.
We are excited to begin the year with the launch of our new website – we trust you will enjoy the new look and take the time to scroll through our new information. We are keen to hear your feedback.
We are delighted to have new staff on board for 2015 and welcome Janet Teo and Renee Kenning who will join the team as Educational Advisers. We are sure their skills and knowledge having just left the classroom will enhance our team.
2015 sees an expansion of our programs with assessors now located in Cairns, Townsville, Warwick Caboolture, Petrie, Victoria Point, Ipswich, and Greenbank. We will also be conducting psychometric assessments at Ipswich, Coorparoo, and Victoria Point. This will allow us to meet the demand for our assessment service and reduce the wait time for families.
Our professional development calendar for 2015 is on our webpage and I encourage you to take a look and book into some of the workshops we have planned. If there is something you would like to see us present, and it is not there please feel free to contact me and we will try to arrange a presenter.
Speld exists to support people experiencing learning differences – please join us in 2015, as we work towards achieving this goal.
