Decodable Readers: How to find the right level for my child
Join Emily for an online presentation to gain a better understanding of decodable readers and other resources available in the Speld Qld library.
Topics to be covered include:
- What is a decodable reader and why are they so effective for children with Dyslexia?
- How do I find the right decodable reader for my child?
- Explore a selection of resources including decodable readers and the Beat Dyslexia program.
- How does the library work for borrowers?
Emily Thompson has five years of diverse experience at Speld Qld which has included roles in Assistive Technology, Intensive Literacy Teaching, Administration and Content Creation. Emily is passionate about creating content which responds to client perspectives and needs. When she isn’t at the office you’ll find her cooking up a storm in the kitchen or out on an adventure with her dog Wooki.
