Event Details

Dyslexia: Teaching Strategies and Approaches - This one day course looks at what works for learners with dyslexia in terms of teaching strategies and approaches. Multisensory, structured cumulative programmes will be explored alongside other approaches such as the use of IT and physiological programmes.

The training will be relevant to both primary and sceondary teachers, teaching assistants, Teacher Aides and parents. Judy will cover how to identify dyslexia and the difficulties that these learners have, as well as their strengths. Then practical solutions to support dyslexic learners will be explored alongside how to make sure that individual settings are as dyslexia friendly as possible.
