A student with learning differences often knows what they want to say but somehow can’t seem to get their point across in writing. This experience can be incredibly frustrating!
A graphic organiser is a visual planner that shows the parts of a paragraph or essay. Graphic organisers help students see the relationship between parts of a paragraph: the topic sentence, supporting details, and conclusion.
Different types of graphic organisers can be used for writing, spelling and mathematics across the curriculum. This workshop will demonstrate how Graphic Organisers can be used to assist students with learning differences both in the classroom and at home.
