This workshop for parents will look at how you can help your child at home based on understanding the broader challenges beginning readers face.

Toni will demonstrate a variety of resources that can assist in your child's learning.

 

Presenter: Toni Bowden is a retired teacher and teacher-librarian with a life-long interest in reading failure. This interest led her to complete a Graduate Diploma in Reading from Griffith University as well as a Masters in Language Education from Woollongong. She worked as a Reading Recovery Teacher for three years and has experience in tutoring people with reading difficulties, including adults.
